The KZ Castor Harman Target with Improved Bass Version is a tunable in-ear monitor designed for listeners who prefer stronger low-frequency response while retaining mids and highs aligned with the Harman-inspired tuning target. This selected black version includes an inline microphone for calls, voice chat and gaming communication.

Each earpiece uses two stacked dynamic drivers: a 10mm dual-magnetic dynamic driver and an 8mm dynamic driver. One driver focuses on low-frequency reproduction, while the other handles the mid and high frequencies through an electronic crossover structure. This arrangement delivers deeper bass while maintaining vocal and instrumental detail.

Four physical tuning switches provide two-stage adjustment for low frequencies and two-stage adjustment for mid and high frequencies, creating up to 16 switch combinations. The sound can therefore be adjusted for music, movies, gaming or individual listening preferences.

Important Note:

This is the black Harman Target with Improved Bass Version, not the white standard Harman Target Version. The shell may appear dark gray under some lighting, but KZ officially designates this variant as black.

The four switches provide up to 16 possible combinations; audible differences depend on the selected setting, source, recording, ear-tip seal and listener. Set the switches on both earpieces to matching positions for balanced sound. Use the supplied tuning tool carefully and avoid using sharp objects.

Noise isolation is passive and depends on selecting the correct ear-tip size; the earphones do not include active noise cancellation. This is a wired 3.5mm model and does not contain Bluetooth, a battery or a built-in digital audio decoder. USB-C and Lightning adapters are sold separately and must support both audio output and microphone input.

• The standard package includes the earphones, detachable silver-plated microphone cable, silicone ear tips, tuning tool, instruction booklet and packaging. Phone, computer, audio adapter, replacement cable and other accessories are not included.
