Attach a compatible magnetic cooler to a flat-backed tablet using the Sarafox Magnetic Mounting Sheet. The thin steel plate uses an adhesive backing to create a magnetically attachable contact area on devices or protective cases that do not provide a suitable built-in magnetic mounting surface.

Once installed, a compatible magnetic tablet cooler can attach directly to the steel plate. The metal surface also provides a broader contact area for transferring heat from the tablet or case toward the separately purchased cooler.

Important Notes

The plate is made from magnetically attachable steel; it is not a powered magnet. Holding strength depends on the cooler’s magnets, plate size, installation quality, surface condition and device movement.

Clean and completely dry the mounting surface before installation. Dust, oil, moisture, textured finishes and curved surfaces can reduce adhesive strength. Repeated removal and repositioning may weaken the adhesive.

For easier removal and reduced risk of adhesive marks, consider installing the sheet on a compatible protective case or a suitable protective film instead of directly on the tablet. Adhesive may leave residue or affect certain coatings and finishes.

A thick case creates additional distance between the tablet and cooler and may reduce thermal transfer. For cooling use, the plate should be positioned near the tablet’s main heat-producing area without covering cameras, vents, buttons or connectors.
