Extend a compatible USB-C connection without giving up access to high-speed data, power delivery or video transmission. The PIVA Full-Function USB-C Extension Cable features a male-to-female design and a compact 50cm length, making it suitable for extending hard-to-reach USB-C ports on laptops, monitors, docking stations, tablets, smartphones and gaming devices.

The cable is rated for data transfer of up to 40Gbps when connected to compatible USB4, Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 equipment. Actual transfer speed is determined by the lowest-rated port, device and cable in the connection.

It supports USB Power Delivery pass-through of up to 240W. This figure represents the cable’s maximum advertised power-handling capability, not a guaranteed charging speed. Reaching higher charging levels requires a compatible USB PD 3.1 EPR charger, a supported device and a fully compatible connecting cable.

For display use, the cable can pass video signals at resolutions up to 8K at 60Hz when the source device, USB-C port, connecting cable and display all support the required DisplayPort Alt Mode, USB4 or Thunderbolt video specification. It does not create or convert a video signal.

Important Notes

This is an extension cable and does not function as a charger, hub, docking station, DAC or video converter. A charger, source cable, monitor cable, adapters and other accessories are sold separately unless explicitly stated by the seller.

Up to 240W charging requires a compatible USB PD 3.1 EPR charger, supported device and suitable 5A cable connection. Most smartphones accept considerably less than 240W.

Up to 40Gbps data transfer requires compatible 40Gbps ports and devices. Up to 8K at 60Hz video requires a source device and display that support this resolution through USB-C, USB4 or Thunderbolt. Many smartphones and tablets do not support 8K output.

Using an extension increases the total cable length and may reduce maximum data or video performance with some equipment. Charging power, transfer speed and display resolution are separate capabilities and are not guaranteed to operate at their maximum values simultaneously.
