The MEMO CX08 is a 15W semiconductor smartphone cooler designed to help reduce heat buildup during mobile gaming, live streaming, video recording and other demanding tasks. Its thermoelectric cooling plate transfers heat away from the contact area on the back of the device, while the 5500 RPM fan dissipates the collected heat.

The cooler supports two mounting methods. MagSafe-compatible iPhone models can connect magnetically, while other phones can use a suitable magnetic plate or the detachable clips. Tablets may also use magnetic mounting when a compatible adhesive plate is installed, but the cooler provides localized cooling and does not cover the entire tablet surface.

Integrated RGB lighting adds a gaming-style appearance. The fan is rated at approximately 35–38 dB, providing relatively low-noise operation, although it may still be audible during quiet recordings or when positioned near a microphone.

Cooling Performance:

Under the manufacturer’s stated test conditions at an ambient temperature of approximately 26°C, the cooling plate may reach a surface temperature between approximately −7°C and −2°C. This figure refers to the cooler’s contact surface, not the phone temperature and not the amount by which the device temperature will decrease.

Important Note:

The 15W specification refers to the cooler’s rated operating power and does not charge the connected phone or tablet. The CX08 has no internal battery and must remain connected to external power during use. A compatible USB-C power adapter capable of supplying the required 9V/3A power profile is recommended. The power adapter is sold separately.

Actual cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, device workload, contact pressure, mounting position, protective case thickness and power supply. Remove thick or insulated cases for better thermal contact. The cooler only reduces heat around the contact area and cannot guarantee a specific reduction in processor, battery or overall device temperature.

Condensation may form on the cold surface in humid environments. Stop operation and dry the cooler and device if moisture appears. Fan noise may be detected by nearby microphones during live streaming or vlogging. The manufacturer lists a USB-C power cable and detachable clips with the standard package; magnetic plates, adapters and other accessories may vary by seller configuration, so check the package contents before purchase.
