The ND D3 Modular Earphone Upgrade Cable is a 16-strand, 352-core braided replacement cable designed for compatible in-ear monitors with detachable 2-pin connections. Its silver-plated conductors provide a flexible signal path for everyday listening, gaming, monitoring and portable audio use without claiming to alter the original tuning of the connected earphones.

The modular plug system allows the cable to be used with different audio sources without replacing the entire cable. It includes interchangeable 3.5mm, 2.5mm and 4.4mm plugs. The 3.5mm plug is intended for standard single-ended headphone outputs, while the 2.5mm and 4.4mm plugs are intended for compatible balanced audio outputs.

Important Note:

Check the earphone connector carefully before purchase. A 0.75mm connector and a 0.78mm connector are not automatically interchangeable, and KZ earphones may also use different connector housings such as recessed, exposed or covered two-pin designs. Never force the pins into an incompatible socket, as this may damage the earphones or cable.

The 2.5mm and 4.4mm plugs require a compatible balanced audio output and must not be inserted into an incompatible socket. This is a passive replacement cable and does not contain a DAC, amplifier or digital audio decoder. Audible results depend on the earphones, audio source, recording and listener. Earphones, audio player and other accessories are not included.
