My ping stayed at a rock-solid 12ms through an entire weekend tournament. The Piva adapter gets warm, but performance never dipped once.

J4.0 PIVA USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, Type-C to RJ45 Cat6 Network Converter, 1000Mbps
The braided cable is a bit stiff, but the gigabit speeds during long matches make up for it. Totally worth grabbing for a wired setup.
